The largest rattlesnake in the United States. What an immense pleasure to see them in the wild.

I got buzzed by this beauty while stepping over a pile of debris. My first adam ant did not disappoint. Flagler County, FL. March 2009.
While flipping through a tin pile, we found this little guy. Wayne County, GA. March 2009.
As we continued to flip through that same pile of tin as the juvenile eastern, we found a much larger eastern next to a dead rat. You can still see some blood on the lip of the snake. Wayne County, GA. March 2009.
